How to Reach Shri Shiv Krishna Dham — Near Vrindavan Railway Station
Exact walking directions from the station, real fare ranges to the three big temples, and how to get here if you're arriving from Mathura or Agra — the kind of detail a Google listing doesn't give you.

From the Station
Vrindavan Railway Station ke Paas Guest House
Vrindavan Railway Station sits right on Chhatikara Road, the same road we're on — this isn't a "near the station" claim that turns into a 20-minute auto ride once you arrive. Come out of the station and Chhatikara Road runs directly past it; head down the road for around 0.3 km, roughly a 3-minute walk with luggage, and our signage is visible from the road. There's no need for an auto or e-rickshaw for this stretch unless you're carrying a lot of baggage or travelling with someone who can't walk that far.
If you'd rather not walk it — especially late at night, with young children, or after a long journey — e-rickshaws wait right outside the station and the fare for a stretch this short is a matter of a shared seat (₹10–20) or a private ride (₹30–50). Call or WhatsApp us when your train is confirmed and we can talk you through exactly where to come out of the station.

E-rickshaws and autos in Vrindavan don't run on a meter — fares above are realistic ranges, not fixed prices, and go up during festivals, at night, or if traffic near the temples is heavy. Agree the fare before you get in, and remember: private vehicles cannot drive into the narrow lanes right around Banke Bihari Temple, so the last stretch there is on foot or by e-rickshaw either way.
Arriving From Outside Vrindavan
From Mathura, Agra, or by Bus
Nearest Bus Stand
Vrindavan's own local bus stand is inside town, but if you're travelling by long-distance or interstate bus, you'll most likely come through Mathura Bus Stand (New Bus Stand), roughly 12–15 km away. From there, autos, e-rickshaws and local UPSRTC minibuses run directly into Vrindavan — a shared auto or bus is usually ₹20–40 and takes 30–45 minutes depending on traffic; a private auto or taxi is faster and costs more.
From Mathura
Mathura Junction railway station is about 12–15 km from us. Autos and taxis wait outside the station — an auto to Vrindavan runs roughly ₹150–200, about 25–35 minutes. Cheaper shared options (shared auto or local bus) exist for around ₹20–40 if you're not in a hurry.
From Agra
Agra to Vrindavan is about 64–70 km by road, roughly 1.5–2 hours by car via the Yamuna Expressway or NH19, depending on traffic through Mathura. A direct taxi from Agra to our gate is the simplest option for families or groups; travelling by train or bus, the usual route is Agra to Mathura first, then an auto or local transport on to Vrindavan as above. If you're coming for Janmashtami or another major festival, add real buffer time — this stretch of road gets heavy.
Arriving by Car
If You're Driving Yourself
Coming by car is straightforward — Chhatikara Road is a proper motorable road right up to our gate, not a lane you have to abandon the car outside. The basement under the building is covered parking for guests, space for around 20 vehicles, so you're not left hunting for street parking on Chhatikara Road once you arrive, especially during festival season when that gets genuinely difficult.
If you're driving in from Agra or Mathura and expect to arrive late at night, message us on WhatsApp ahead of time so someone's at the gate to guide you into the basement rather than circling the block.
